The heat continued on Sunday, but it didn't seem to bother Oklahoman Jerome Holden. He continues to shoot "lights out", posting a win 2 targets better than the RU, Brent Barrett. Jerome began this summer by winning the US Open Veterans going away, followed up with the Oklahoma State HOA, and now the DGC Red Hot. Congratulations to Jerome and everyone else who survived the Texas heat and lived to tell about it.

Many shooter compliments on the new course added by DGC. Congratulations to Jim, Peter, Christine and the balance of the DGC staff for a fine shoot.

The 2001 World English Championship was concluded with great success April 9, 2001, at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio. 602 shooters entered the Main Event.

Tiger Woods does not have anything on George Digweed - Mr. Digweed also showed us that his game is at another level. Congratulations to him and to all the other winners.

Did you wonder how Mr. Digweed, good as he is, could score 211 out of a 200 bird race? At the end of regulation shooting, the top 6 shooters had a 25 bird shoot-off at shoot-off stadium to determine the final placements. Mr. Digweed scored 19, more than enough to preserve his victory. Bobby Fowler put on a clinic and bettered his position from a tie for M4 to Runner Up. Nice going!
